UPCOMING WHATSAPP FEATURES: VACATION MODE, REDESIGN UI AND MORE

 WhatsApp is one of the most popular instant messaging apps used worldwide. There are millions of users using the app in India, especially when people have not been able to meet their friends and family for a long time. 



The messaging platform has recently introduced animated stickers, QR codes etc. Today we are telling you about some special features of WhatsApp which will be introduced in the coming time.

       

VACATION MODE

WhatsApp is working on interesting vacation mode. With this feature, users will be able to disable archive chat even when new messages arrive. Currently, it appears on the notification when a new message arrives in the archive chat on the messaging platform. WhatsApp is working on this new vacation mode and will be released soon.

NEW WALLPAPER

WhatsApp is working on a new wallpaper feature that allows users to choose different backgrounds for each chat. This feature is also in the works and it is not yet available on the latest beta version. This new feature is in progress for the Android and iOS versions of WhatsApp.

REDESIGN OF STORAGE USAGE

According to another WABetaInfo report, WhatsApp is redesigning its storage usage section so that users can easily organize their storage and delete files that are not necessary. According to the feature's screenshot, there will be a storage bar at the top of the redesigned interface that will show the space being used by media files shared on WhatsApp. Also, it will show cleanup option and will show thumbnails of large files so that the user can see and delete them.

SEPARATE RING TONES FOR GROUP CALLS

WhatsApp will soon add a custom melody that will be received when the group call is received.

NEW STICKER ANIMATION

WhatsApp is implementing a new type of animation for stickers that comes eight times. The messaging platform introduced the sticker a few months ago. The platform has also added a new sticker pack.

UI IMPROVEMENTS FOR CALLS

WhatsApp is preparing to bring all call screen items to the bottom of the UI. The report claimed that the new user interface will be released soon.
